What House Proud Commercial is
House Proud Commercial is a referral and editorial site. We write guides about trade work on commercial sites. We also pass your request to a business that does the work.
We are not the tradesperson. We do not do the work, quote for it, or agree a price. Any deal is between you and the business.
The business that gets your request
For painting and plastering fitout work in New Zealand, we pass your details to Pour, the painting and plastering business. House Proud and Pour have the same owner.

House Proud Commercial is not paid for leads at launch. Spare enquiries, including cleaning, garden, plumbing and electrical jobs, go to the publisher and are held there.
We do not check the licence, insurance, skill or record of any business. We do not endorse any business. We do not promise the work or the result.

Price ranges are a guide
Some pages show a range of prices. Each range comes from a named source with a date. It shows what others have reported. It is not our price. It is not a quote. It is not an offer.
Your price comes from the business, after it sees the job. It can be higher or lower than any range. Scope, access, materials and timing all change a price.
The budget band in the form is your own budget. It helps the business plan. It is not a price from us.

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, work for a home must be done with reasonable care and skill. That duty sits with the business that does the work for you.
Our responsibility
We are not responsible for the work, the price, or anything a business does or fails to do. That is between you and the business.
We are responsible for what the law says we are responsible for. These terms do not limit that.
Our content
The text, photos and design on this site belong to us or to people who let us use them. You can read them and share a link. Ask us before you copy them.
Links to other sites
A link to another site is not an endorsement. We do not control other sites.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when. A change does not apply to a request you already sent.
The law
These terms follow New Zealand law. A New Zealand court can hear any dispute.
