The work

House washing in South Auckland.

Water blasting uses high pressure. It suits concrete, paths and driveways. On weatherboards and plaster it can do damage, so walls usually get a soft wash.

South Auckland is the southern part of the Auckland urban area. Say where the house is, and what you want washed.

The job

How a house wash usually runs.

Every job is different. This is the usual order.

  1. Wet the plants and cover what needs it.

  2. Put on the cleaning mix and let it work.

  3. Rinse the walls, windows and spouting.

  4. Water blast hard surfaces like paths and driveways.

Questions

Good questions.

What details help with a job in South Auckland?

Tell us the job type, your suburb and a few lines about the house. Say how many rooms, what needs cleaning, and when.

Can water blasting damage my house?

It can. High pressure can strip paint and force water behind boards. Walls usually get a soft wash instead.

Should I wash the house before painting?

Yes. Paint holds only as well as the surface under it. A wash is the first step of most exterior paint jobs.
